DAY 3 ~ 9/17/21

It was an incredible day walking today. Beautiful residential roads near lakes and farm land. Put 16.1 miles in total. Walked through Westfield. In true mom spirit I talked to all the animals I passed by including cows, donkeys, dogs and horses.

Had lunch in Coloma at Jenna’s Red Hill Royal Café and had a Rueben sandwich and lasagna soup. Good fuel for a marathon right?

The RV officially moved forward to Kilby Lake Campground in Montello. Photo of the day of it sighted on the interstate was taken by Paige. Great shot!!

I’m now tucked in my home away from home with Paige by my side taking time before I shut my eyes to finish my daily journal. Tonight we had yummy chicken wings and you’ll never guess but I had a baked potato! We ate at Rendezvous in Montello owned by Charlotte who waited on us. She was fun as hell. She wished us well on our walk journey and gave us fruit snacks and aloe vera lotion for our trek. How sweet is that!!!!
