DAY 8 ~ 9/22/21

Today started off with NBC Madison news interviewing me at our starting point today. Clarence was waiting for us at our endpoint just in time to catch the 5 o’clock news live inside the RV. Joan joined the entire day again. That’s 3 days in a row!! Walked 16.9 miles today total, including taking care of Ruben + other stuff.

Had dinner out tonight at our end point in Paoli at the Paoli pub and grill. Had a fantastic fried chicken dinner and of course a nice beer.

Had the most beautiful walking day this afternoon going through Verona. Some of the pictures here are from that segment.

I have walked over 130 miles so far through eight days, including on and off route miles. I can’t believe that! I’m really doing this! I’m tired, it’s really hard but so so worth it.
