DAY 7 ~ 9/21/21

Joan and I walked 15.2 miles today. The weather today was much more cool with a nice wind that kept swirling behind our backs. Wish that helped as much as being on a bike!!😉 Stopped at Walgreens first thing for corn treatment products and that helped big time. I still have them, feel them, but they are not as painful at all. Can’t believe I walked all the way to Middleton WI (Madison) in one week!!! Clarence did another bang up job getting us to and from our starting point, half way lunch spot and being there at our planned finish point of the day. We’re getting better at a routine. Ruben was at the finish point, which was at a park, and ran to me when he saw me. Melts my heart every time. We started walking back to the RV and he marched ahead running towards it. It must already feel like home!! We put two recliners in the RV and took out the loveseat so I am in a recliner for our ride to and from our walking route. Ruben is right by my side along for the ride! What a trooper he is. One week in the history books, 14 more to go!
