DAY 26 ~ 10/10/21

No Walk today! What? What a welcome feeling!! We had a very lazy and relaxing morning. Joan made yummy French toast. We got to the Lincoln Presidential Museum around 11 am. Spent 3.5 hours there. It was incredible. I’d highly recommend it for those who travel near the area. There were plenty of places to sit and read the display and there were two movie type exhibits. I only put on 2 miles today!! Perfect for a day off.

We were really hungry so had a late lunch/early dinner a few blocks away at La Piazza Cucina Italiana. I had pizza. It was very authentic and just like the pizza I had in Italy. Tasted delicious. They had gelato to go cups so I got sea salt caramel and had that as an appetizer. Big smile.

Spent tonight relaxing with some iPad TV. Never really have done that. Caught up on a couple of my DVR recordings. Overall a wonderful day off!! I needed it
