DAY 62 ~ 11/15/21

Joan and I walked 14.3 miles today. Another gorgeous day, blue skies, very little wind and 72°. I was dragging today. Probably because the hills are back. They still haven’t been as bad as in Missouri but they’re still hills!! But it could also be that we had a week of family joining us and we’re missing them!! Withdrawal!!

We were on AR 67 this morning and after 8 miles Clarence called telling us we missed our turn. He said the road we just passed would work if we turned back to it and took that instead. Thank goodness he’s watching out for us!!!

We had beautiful country roads the rest of the day. Even though I was tired today it was a great waking day!! And another day with dogs joining us. A sweet fellow walked right by my side at least a half mile.

Clarence usually tries to walk and meet us with their dog Bella at our stopping points. If it’s safe, he lets her go when she sees Joan. So fun to watch her run to her with such love and excitement!!!

It’s going to be almost 80° tomorrow so we’re going to get in an early night in hopes of getting an early start tomorrow. Joan and I both prefer the cooler temps.
