DAY 49 ~ 11/2/21

We had another day of absolutely flat terrain. Again I’m so very thankful. We walked a total of 16.3 miles. It was all on AR367 South. It was the coldest day we have walked so far. Cloudy skies, northerly winds of 10 to 15 mph, and a 45° temp. We needed to wear a jacket and gloves!

We had one interaction with a very sweet woman who greeted us walking through Alicia from a parking lot. She wasn’t close and had to ask us in a fairly loud voice “Would you guys like a cup of coffee?” That’s a first!! How sweet It’s that?!!

We had a couple of interactions with dogs. Always so sweet when they greet us on the road!! Brings a smile every time.

I worked until almost 8 o’clock tonight again. Joan made some spaghetti and garlic bread. With it being such a cold weather day, it was perfect comfort food!!
