DAY 72 ~ 11/25/21

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Joan was a sweetheart and made us french toast & bacon this morning! Yum.

Joan and I walked a total of 15 miles today. All of it was on small paved back roads with tons of trees. It was absolutely gorgeous scenery all day. We got a later start this morning because it was raining. It had ended by the time we started at 9:30. There were some pretty good hills most of the day. We’re pooped!

Today was the day of the donkeys. We had two friendly ones come up to visit. One was extremely vocal. It was so cute. Made us both laugh.

We moved RV parks today and are now staying at Cypress Valley RV Park in Marshall TX. It’s a beautiful campground full of trees. Texas is just beautiful so far!!

Since we got home so late, with the late start, our Thanksgiving dinner is getting postponed until tomorrow night. Clarence grilled chicken, we made roasted zucchini and snatched the mashed potatoes that were supposed to be with our thanksgiving dinner. It was scrumptious!

All in all it was a great + full day!
