DAY 44 ~ 10/28/21

It was another wonderful morning walking in the Mark Twain National Forest. Joan and I logged a total of 12.9 miles today. We dodged the rain in the morning walking 10.5 miles before lunch. Then the rain came, but luckily we only had 2.4 miles to go. Once again the hills were killer. But they do make for beautiful views!!

It was the day of dogs. And this time puppies!! We were so happy to see such cute little precious ones, until all four of them wouldn’t stop following us up the gravel road!! They had to have come a half a mile or more. They finally got preoccupied by another house and we walked fast around a curve to lose them. Oh I sure hope they made it home safely!!!

We again had 3 cars stop to ask if we were okay, or if we needed a ride. Missouri is a very friendly state! Definitely the most kind people in that regard!!

We moved to a new RV park called Rocky River Resort in Doniphan Missouri. They are having a music festival this weekend. Should be fun to check out.

I worked this afternoon. Clarence grilled pork loins and made baked potatoes. Joan and I were so grateful!
