DAY 58 ~ 11/11/21

It was very hard to say goodbye to Annie and Craig as they dropped us off at our starting point this morning. I had such a wonderful birthday!!!

The next bright spot in our adventure is Joan and Clarence‘s daughter Jessica flew in late last night so I woke up to the fun of meeting her. She is here until Sunday. I am really looking forward to spending time with her and so glad she is staying for that many days.

Joan and I walked a total of 14.2 miles today all through the heart of Little Rock. Jessica joined us for the last 4.7 miles. We crossed the Arkansas river on the most beautiful bridge in the city. Also saw the capital from a distance. The fall colors were absolutely spectacular. It was a very wonderful day to walk weatherwise as well. Absolutely loved every step today!

We ate lunch at the waffle house.Tonight Clarence barbecued chicken thighs and we had roasted veggies and potatoes. It was nice to have a home cooked meal!

I worked all afternoon. I’m going to sleep like a baby tonight. I’m beat!!
