DAY 19 ~ 10/3/21

We spent the majority of the day on a gravel and sometimes paved country road. Was foggy at the start but very pleasant day walking overall with a little breeze and cloudy skies. We walked a total of 12.2 miles. We ran into a woman driving a UTV who was out on-a ride with her two adorable dogs, a Shelty named Bolt and a Scottie named Radar. This afternoon we realized we didn’t even ask the woman what her name was!! Oh dear, guess we’re both dog lovers lol.

Spent the afternoon working Joan made her macaroni hot dish with garlic bread tonight. Was scrumptious.

My Paige is coming to see me tonight after work. She only has two days off and is spending them with me. Soooo grateful. I absolutely cannot wait to see her and Ruben when they arrive after 11 PM tonight!!!

The meeting time for the news interview is set for tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at WMBD TV studios in Peoria, which happens to be directly on my walking route. It actually is going to be our ending point. We will spend the rest of the day exploring Peoria. Should be a fun day tomorrow!!
