DAY 41 ~ 10/25/21

Was an easy walking day today. I needed it! Been a long stretch of high mile days. Joan and I walked 12.8 miles today, all on US 67. Beautiful wide shoulder. Very easy walking. Just a few hills so not too bad. I really felt low energy and dragged most of the day, but especially during the afternoon segment which was only 2.5 miles. I know that’s just gonna happen some days.

This afternoon my dad, Paige and I joined a conference call with pulmonary fibrosis foundation representatives. He has so many ideas that we wanted to start the ball rolling with some of them. It was a very productive call. Paige has really good ideas too. She’s actually going to help coordinate some of these ideas with my dad. I am so grateful for them both regarding trying to make this bigger and bigger! I’ll keep you posted as some of these efforts are rolled out.

We moved today, now staying at Holliday Landing and Resort Marina in Greenville Missouri. It’s another beautiful park. And I have service! I’m so excited. It was 4 days of not logging into my work so I had quite a bit to catch up on tonight. And now these daily journal posts will be done the evening of the actual day instead of the next morning. Getting back on track feels great!

Here’s hoping for a nice quiet evening with no surprises. No alerts please :)
