DAY 79 ~ 12/2/21

Joan and I walked a total of 13.5 miles today. I cannot believe how lucky we’ve been with weather. It was another absolute and perfectly gorgeous day. We started off on the busy Highway 79 South but after 5 short miles the day finished on quiet county roads that were full of beautiful scenery. We ended by reaching the town of Ponta.

With the gift of being on country roads came the gift of talking to all the animals again! From dogs and puppies to donkeys and horses; we were filled to the brim!

We have a day off tomorrow! I’m going to keep my feet up all day. It is the end of the month so I will be working all day but the feet and body will get a good rest!
