DAY 77 ~ 11/30/21
Joan and I walked a total of 14.2 miles today, all on the same road as the last 3 days, Highway 43 South. I feel like it’s Groundhog Day having to repeat for the third day in a row, but it was absolutely perfect walking again weather wise, scenery wise and surface/shoulder wise. There were still hills making it challenging but that’s part of the fun now, right!??!
We just entered the town of Henderson as we finished for the day. Looking forward to walking through the north eastern corner of the city tomorrow as we head onto a new road, Highway 79 South.
This is I think the first day, at least in a very long time, that there were absolutely no interactions with people or any animals on the road! Hopefully tomorrow brings some. I miss it.
