DAY 35 ~ 10/19/21

Was so grateful to have Joan and Sean with me the entire day!! I did a total of 16.0 miles today. Was another perfect walking day, sunny with low 70s for a temp. Without knowing it, our starting point was two or three blocks away from the church Sean was married at 20 years ago!! He just happened to look up the street and see it. It was really incredible going up to it. So special!!!

We had a lot of interaction today. It was a record day for beeps. At least 10 or more people!! Sean’s awesome energy earned that I think! We had so much fun with it. One woman stopped and asked if we needed a ride. When we said no she said are you sure? We told her the story and she said that’s awesome and wished us good luck. Very sweet. We also talked to a mail woman in her mail truck. I asked her how many miles she walks on an average day and that led to me sharing about my journey. She was genuinely moved. Overall an outstanding day!!
